One of the largest mammals, which has the largest brain, and the one that less time sleeps. This fascinating animal has aroused our curiosity since time immemorial, and not just because it is "the most" in many things, but also because of its similarity with us. The brain size of elephants at birth represents only 35% of its final adult volume, and on the other hand, the brain of a human baby has 28% of its final adult volume. The funny thing is that in most mammals this is not like that, and they are already born with a volume brain nearby that they will have an adult. Therefore, the brain of the elephant, as well as ours, develops while growing, so they have a great learning capacity. In addition, an elephant is able to show a multitude of emotions that are also given in humans, such as sadness, compassion, empathy, generosity and also self-consciousness. It is therefore one of the most fascinating animals, and for all this the craftsmen of De Rosa brand have wanted to pay homage with this ceramic figure .

This ceramic elephant has been created in a totally by handmade manner, using the unique decoration technique and characteristic of this family firm of Uruguay, in which knowledge has passed from generation to generation, to over 70 years.
