This is due to the expression of its peculiar face: surprised and scandalized. This effect is even greater if we look at owl chicks, such as the one that has been represented in this ceramic figure.

The real plumage of this type of birds is brown, but the craftsmen of the De Rosa brand wanted to create a contemporary design ceramic figure, so they have made a magnificent textured for this piece and have used the original lilac color that combines perfectly with gold details, features of this potter house.
