Ceramic figurine of a Siamese cat.
The great favorite of the Thai royal family, the Siamese cat, now in our collection of ceramic animals. The name of our feline friend comes from the ancient name of Thailand, between 1238 and 1932, Siam, where this cat was considered pure and sacred. During antiquity, only members of the Thai royal family could own this great meower as a domestic pet. Fortunately, this is no longer the case and all of us can enjoy the company of a Siamese cat.
In this ceramic sculpture of a Siamese cat, the potters have managed to show us all the elegance of this affectionate feline. In the texturing, as well as in the combination of the colors of this ceramic cat and in the gold details, the hand of a craftsman from the De Rosa family firm is noticeable. A ceramic figure with history, to expand your collection of ceramic animals.
