Santa's Journey

A splendid piece of great size and complexity, as fantastic as it is realistic: the reindeer are modeled and sculpted like real animals, and seem to leap and run over the clouds. Of note are the tiny fragments such as the reindeer's antlers or legs, the sleigh's runners, the small toys, or even the small fur pompom on Santa's hat. His facial expression is happy and smiling. It is worth observing the decoration on the sides of the sleigh, where mistletoe motifs have been reflected with small red balls on a dark brown and green background.
