A ceramic figure depicting a shy, smiling lady-in-waiting. This ceramic figure is an interpretation of one of the central figures in the painting "Las Meninas" by the great painter Diego Velázquez . This interpretation, created by Rosa Elordui , transforms this 17th-century figure into a contemporary work of art.  

The manual production of this ceramic sculpture has given it a rustic touch which, together with the artist's characteristic childlike style, makes this piece, initially serialized, a unique work of pottery art.
