Cowpernicus

This CowParade cow in North Carolina of the year 2012, as it indicates its name, was created in honor of one of the most wonderful minds that have ever existed, in honor of Nicolás Copernicus, the astronomer who formulated the Heliocentric theory of the Solar System.

Now we can better understand the design of this cow of CowParade, a design that seems ideal to honor this great scientist. The pure blue color that covers the entire body of the animal, reveals space. Colorful circles represent different solar systems.

We could say with great security, that Elizabeth Janeway Hallyburton, the author of this magnificent design, managed to create a unique contemporary style artwork, which also has the added value of the tribute, not only Nicolás Copernicus, but also all science, reminding us how important is the support of this incessant searching of knowledge.
